With tentative peace established in Faerie, Thierry returns to her job as a conclave marshal in Texas while the countdown to her coronation begins. But what happens in Faerie doesn’t always stay in Faerie. A crown wasn’t Thierry’s only souvenir from her trip. Her new husband, Rook, is scheming again, and this time his plans are invading her dreams.

When her best friend throws a beachside going-away party, Thierry is grateful for the distraction from Rook…and from Shaw. But her presence in Daytona rouses an old evil, one who wants the future queen as the crown jewel of his private collection.

The Review

This is book 3 in the series and I must admit, the story is just soo addictive. I cant seem to get enough of it all. So Thierry was granted leave so she could return to the mortal realm to prepare for her reign in a years time. And is now back working for the conclave, but it seems she is still having a bit of a hard time dealing with the event that happened in Faerie at least she has Diode who she is starting to get attached to. Rook her newly acquired husband still remains in Faerie ruling in her place and visits her now and again In her dreams to teach her what she needs to know before she comes back to rule. While she is enjoying her time in the mortal realm she can help feeling sad that one day she will leave it all behind. To take her mind of everything Mai her best friend decides they should go on a road trip and spend some time at the beach. So they drive out to Daytona and presume to have some vacay time but they soon run into some evil that seems really old and it’s not long before Thierry discovers why this evil wants her.

This book 3 has a lot of great stuff in it. Betrayal, loyalty, love, deceit, friendship, humor,…etc.

What did I like? Oh this story kept me glued from the first page. You know some books with sequels can tend to get boring, but this one was just awesome. I still want to like Rook and somehow I feel Thierry should give him a chance but he just seems slimy. It was nice to have Shaw back in full force, I can almost feel his masculinity bouncing off the pages. Maybe Lure is working one me…. But I think the best revelation was Mac, Thierry’s dad. I wont give any spoilers so you need to read it your self to find out what exactly happened. Trust me you will not be bored for one second of this book. 5 amazing stars!!!
