The Review

Book three and I can’t help myself as this series gets better and better. I thought I would be tired of the selection and Maxon but to be honest I just cant get enough.

In this book the end of the selection is approaching and Maxon has to decide once and for all who will be his bride, his feelings for America are there but he always wonders if America feels the same and also can America let go of Aspen?
Also if America turns him down does he have a substitute ?
So I honestly thought that at the end of book 2 we had established that America has all these feelings for Maxon and will choose him if she is allowed to stay. Well I guess the silly girl still cant fully make up her mind and the King is using all kings of scare tactics to make sure Maxon does not end up choosing her. I enjoyed reading this book, there was soo much raw emotion in the declarations made by America and Maxon and just when things are going great some tragedy happens and America has to go home for a few days. This allows us to see a bit more into the memories and life of her family and who her father really is.

The rebels are also closing in and they must form an important alliance if they are to stop the rebels from destroying Illea. It is then up to Maxon and America to make a plan of how they can go about it. It is through all this that she has finally made up her mind on what she must do about Aspen and as usual just when you think America is doing the right think she ruins it with something else.
Maxon finally decides he has chosen his princess and just then the rebels attack causing chaos. Lives are lost and heartfelt confessions are made. I loved the end of this book and was sad that it was over coz I just wanted more.
