Rating – 5 out of 5 stars

Hallie has a secret. She’s in love. He’s perfect for her in every way, but he’s seriously out of bounds. And her friends aren’t going to help her because what they do know is that Hallie doesn’t have long to live. Time is running out… Fl has a dilemma. She really likes Zander. But his scary sister won’t be even faintly amused if she thinks Zander and Flo are becoming friends – let alone anything more. Tasha has a problem. Her new boyfriend is the adventurous type. And she’s afraid one of his adventures will go badly wrong.

I am such a huge Jill Mansell fan as I am always guaranteed to enjoy every single book. Her latest novel “Three Amazing things about you” is not any different. And if you are a fan you will definitely not be disappointed. Once I picked it up I refused to put it down until the very last page.

The book opens with Hallie making a quick confessions and also she is on her way to get new lungs. The book follows the stories of 3 very awesome women. Hallie, Flo and Tasha.

They live in completely different parts of the country and are each experiencing love in different ways.

There’s Hallie, she suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, struggles to breath and she honestly doesn’t  know how long she is going to live and she has a secret she has been keeping for a while. She is fun, very smart and has the most awesome mum and friends and a good looking Doctor named Luke. All she wants is to be normal, but he only she will have that is with a new pair of lungs.

Flo, she wasn’t necessarily looking for love but it comes into her life at a very unexpected but wonderful time. It seems she and Zander have an amazing adventure ahead of them. But only if Lena, Zanders sister can let them be.

Tasha, I loved her. While doing some last minute shopping she looses her credit card in a bin and while rummaging through for it she meets a very kind and helpful stranger. He seems perfect but his adrenaline lifestyle makes her wonder if this is what she really wants.

It’s a book about love, happiness, heartbreak, loss and taking chances.

I loved all the characters in the book, the way they all came into each other’s lives was pure genius. It just goes to show that along the way we tend to meet or cross paths with people who later become close friends or loved ones later along our journeys in life. I liked the banter between Joe and Carmel and I thought Lena was just the most infuriating person ever but then she made it quite interesting. I’m sure some of us out there have sibling similar to her.

The book is funny, and heart warming and also heart breaking. I had moments of pure happiness and sadness. Touched by every character in the story in oneway or the other.

The story made me think and appreciate what I have and how so many times we take a lot of things for granted. Tomorrow is never promised so don’t hesitate to tell that special person how you truly feel about them. Trust me you wont regret it.
